I use iStockPhoto.com and love it. Thanks for sharing the others. I added them to my bookmarks.
Good and free image editors are Gimp and Paint.NET.
The one I use, though, costs a little money (

My previous comment got cut. Sorry about that.
The one I use is Photoshop Elements, it costs less that $100 and it does everything you will ever need. Plus it is much easier to learn compared to Gimp or Paint.NET, in my opinion.
