Apple Laptop
Last night I bought an Apple Macbook Pro laptop. Now I need to learn about insurance for it. I wish I had an affiliate link here…

You did get AppleCare right? Also there is stealth software available that you can install on your Mac to help recover it if stolen: http://homepage.mac.com/sweetcocoa/lapcop/

I am getting AppleCare, yes. I was waffling on everything because my new business credit card was denied and I wondered if I wanted a pc (no offense). Then I looked at this program, and decided yes. If someone from Mac responds to my blog message that is very good karma.
this program sounds very cool…it emails you information when someone steals your laptop and gets on the internet.
Thanks for the tip!

I didn’t realize this was your first Mac. Congrats! Probably the hardest thing you will have to learn is that you’ll try to over-complicate things. What can take several steps in Windows may only take one or two on a Mac.
Also, since you have an Intel-based Mac you could run Windows as well (there are programs that you may use as an affiliate marketer that are only Windows based). Of course there is Boot Camp from Apple but also check out Parallels Workstation (parallels.com). It’s in beta right now but pretty solid. It lets you switch to Windows without having to reboot your Mac.

Wow, I got my new MacbokPro. I’m blown away. I love the card maker. I can’t wait to learn to podcast on it. I’m going to the Apple store to learn how to use everything. Now, why did I get Dreamweaver for Windows? I think I’m already a Mac addict…
