Jeremy Palmer’s Free Affiliate Marketing Course

If you have some technical skills and the dedication, sign up for Jeremy Palmer’s free affiliate marketing course. Jeremy is completely white hat and he’s a great teacher who really wants you to understand and be successful at affiliate marketing.
The class is delivered via conference calls and it may be full already because he’s capping registration. At other times I’d jump at this but I don’t have the time to dedicate right now. I barely blog. If you are interested, it deserves your time and attention.

Jeremy recently wrapped up a course with Affiliate Classroom that was $500. You can’t beat free but it’s really for the serious student who will treat it like a $500 class. It’s worth more though - there was a time that you couldn’t pay enough to have Jeremy teach you. He just wasn’t available.

Wicked Good Internet Marketing

wickedfire.pngI just posted an interview with Jon from WickedFire on Affiliate Flash. One thing I like is that Jon can not only dish it out, he can take it too. We certainly have our differences (I hate the raunchy parts of his forum A LOT). I nicknamed him Wicked Jon. Otherwise we share an absolute love of internet marketing. Plus, he knows what he’s talking about. He gives some excellent information from an insider’s point of view.

I must apologize for the look of Affiliate Flash. I need an outlet for my writing and ideas but I never have time to do more. I had a long long list of things to do on it this weekend and barely got this up. So much left undone. Please forgive me. When I have more time and money to spare I will get a real design and navigation. I’ll also market it!

However, I think you will agree that it’s a great article. Jon’s story is authentic, insightful, and makes a good (even if long) read. Thanks Jon for indulging me. Who is my next victim?

Straight Talk with Jon at Wickedfire

Notice I said straight and not straight edge…

Today I got a call from Jon at Wickedfire. He’s just the kind of person I am both drawn to and repulsed by (in some ways). You can’t believe what he owns up to.

He’s 25 and has been in the spam or affiliate or online marketing industry since he was 14. Make that starting off with porn, which is really the beginnings of ecommerce. Again, I’m completely opposed to porn and I won’t touch it. However you can learn from the  technology, online marketing, and affiliate marketing. By his own admission he got sick of porn but it was his training ground in SEO and online marketing.

He’s smart (in a ‘community college’ not an ‘ivy league’ sort of way), swears a lot, and and talks fast. By his own admission there is no BS None. You know EXACTLY what he thinks.

This may make Jonas hate me worse but I think they’d get along and be great friends. I will type up our comments and make an article on AffiliateFlash (which is how he found me).

I started Affiliateflash because I needed an outlet for my writing. The affiliate marketing industry is endlessly fascinating to me. For the personalities, characters, and stories. It’s still so new and is so dynamic.

Talking to people like Jon and ShopSite Designer Kyle Rodeck today was a fun trip. Great name dropping and a real kick talk to. Thanks for making my day guys.

Jeremy Palmer Interview

Affiliate Flash has a new interview with Jeremy Palmer. It was fun to conduct. I wanted to do it because the article on him in Revenue Magazine didn’t focus on what I think is key. He didn’t accidently succeed. They talked about a lot of things that missed the point. To me it’s this: in a world of rogue affiliates, Jeremy is a professional. You’ll know from reading my blog that I respect credentials. I respect people who’ve bootstrapped or paid the price to learn and innovate. I’m motivated by seeing success.

I suggest you buy Jeremy Palmer’s ebook, High Performance Affiliate Marketing before September. I just did. If you do you’ll get unlimited updates. After September you’ll just get a year. Jeremy stays on top of what Google is doing and the affiliate marketing industry in general. Pay once and you’ll get to keep up too. As I said in the article the latest update tells you more about how to implement a paid search campaign.

The target audience is late beginners to intermediate affiliates. If you’re already a pro at paid search it may not go in depth enough for you. There is a chapter on keywords which are the foundation of your affiliate business and your competitive advantage.

I need to find the next super affiliate to interview. I have a few in mind but if you have any suggestions please let me know.
