Hundred Dollar Business
My friend Carolyn, is the organizer of a new ebook about entrepreneurs. I sent a few of them her way and talk to her about it, but I just realized I never blogged about it. I have read the first draft in Yepic and I was really inspired by it. There are some amazing stories, nothing sugar coated.
If you have a good story she is still looking for them from these states: Arkansas, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming.
She just listed her progress on the book. Way to go Carolyn!
* Committed 92 entrepreneurs (so far–our goal is 100) from 32 states and 5 continents to write & include their 1-page story in our book.
* Collected more than half of these stories already!
* Found 15 customers (not bad for a book that hasn’t yet been published).
* Had 1,731 visits to our site with a total of 5,809 page views.
* Acquired a team of 3 PR volunteers, in addition to several others who regularly give excellent suggestions!
* Recorded a 30-minute podcast on Tycoon’s Row.
* Written 48 blog posts on our own site, The Hundred Dollar Business blog.

Janet,
Thanks for the mention! This project has been really exciting…
We are still accepting entrepreneur stories from those states, although we just got Hawaii and South Carolina this morning!
Also, for our Utah entrepreneur friends out there, we’ll be holding a “cast party” book-release event this coming Tuesday, March 13th… look for more details on our blog at http://www.hundreddollarbusiness.com.
