Utah’s Bad News Week
Great post today by Matthew at Bloomburst about the sad state of affairs with many Utah Businesses. It’s been a tough month for some of us!
Here’s some good news:
Logoworks Ranks No. 66 on the 2006 Inc. 500
Inc. magazine has announced its 25th annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the country. Logoworks, a Lindon-based provider of graphic design services to small businesses, ranks No. 66 on the list, with three-year growth of 1,053 percent.

Even though LogoWorks ranked 66, they’re in a bad way financially. Word on the street is that it does not look good for logoworks.

Thanks for stopping by the site and mentioning that post Janet!
As Chris mentioned both here and on my thread (http://voxpopdesign.com/bloomburst/1/2006/08/Bemoaning-the-Week-in-Utah-Dev-News.cfm) Logoworks is in trouble. According to the Inc. article that received $9.3 million in funding in February 2005. Can we get a confirmation of Logoworks health?

Like you, I have a strong interest in seeing Utah succeed. I moved here 10 months ago and I see many opportunities.
Utah has a long way to go, but it has a lot of promise. There are many unheralded companies that will eventually make their way into the limelight.
