The presentor bascially said make it look like YOU are the official company site (I'm not endorsing this, it could get you kicked out of their affiliate program depending on how literally you take it).
Direct people to your site (PPC) and do a better job on a your landing page than the merchant has. Send people directly to the merchant's check out system (of course if that's bad you're sunk because it's got to CONVERT).You can do this with Clickbank. Outwrite the sales letter to a product and have them go directly to checkout to buy it.
